About · 奇門遁甲
Mission
Qi Men Dun Jia 奇門遁甲 is one of the most exacting of the Chinese metaphysical Three Styles — and historically, one of the hardest to learn. Its rigor is what makes it powerful, and also what keeps most people out.
Our mission is to make that rigor approachable without diluting it: to build the chart exactly as the classical method prescribes, and to explain it in language a curious person can follow.
Philosophy
We treat the tradition with respect: the full chart is always shown, never simplified into a horoscope, and every construct is honored with its proper term.
But reverence is not secrecy. Each technical name is defined the first time you meet it, then trusted to you. The voice throughout is that of a patient teacher — one who has read the classics in the original, and remembers what it felt like to be lost in them.
The product
Aye-Eye Qimen casts the full Nine Palaces 九宮 for any moment, reads it back to you palace by palace, and helps you choose an auspicious hour 擇日 for what you’re planning — a contract, a move, a conversation.
Underneath is a single, exacting chart engine. On top is a calm, dense, expert interface: ink on rice paper, brass and cinnabar, restrained Hanzi — built for the serious student and the first-time reader alike.
Vision
We want Qi Men Dun Jia 奇門遁甲 to be something people use, not just admire from a distance — a practice carried in the pocket, consulted before the moments that matter, and understood a little more deeply each time.
The classics were written for a world without our tools. We are building the tool that lets the classics meet this one.
